About Us

We welcome collectors of all ages, from beginners to specialists, who are interested in the polar regions and their postal history. Although based in Sydney, we represent Polar Philately across Australia and internationally. Our interests span all countries with active scientific, historical or postal programs in the Arctic or Antarctic.

Members receive three issues per year of our well-regarded journal, Penguin Views. Each issue contains a range of articles, news and commentary, and is a valuable resource for anyone interested in this field of collecting.

The Society also runs an annual Polar Auction, which is a highlight for members. Past auction lists can be viewed, and the most recent auction catalogue is available to members only.

Keep up to date by joining us on Facebook www.facebook.com/polarstamps or Instagram www.instagram.com/penguinviews

Meeting Time

The Society meets on the last Monday of every month (except January) at 8.00 pm AEST, online via Zoom. The Zoom link is circulated to all interested parties by email and is also posted on our Facebook page one week before each meeting.
