Bathurst Lapidary & Collectors Club Inc.

Unearth treasures and forge friendships at Bathurst Lapidary & Collectors Club Inc. - where lapidary, stamps, coins, and collectibles enthusiasts come together.

About Us

Bathurst Lapidary & Collectors' Club Inc.Many of our members take pleasure in lapidary and rock collecting, participating in workshops held every Wednesday morning from mid-January to mid-December. Our club boasts a sizable membership interested not only in lapidary but also in stamp collecting, philately, coins, banknotes, and various other collectibles.

Originally established as the Bathurst Philatelic Society in 1895, we hold the distinction of being the first in country NSW and the second in the Colony of NSW. We actively encourage all members to bring their 'Latest Acquisition' - an item recently purchased, swapped, or received - to our meetings. Our gatherings include a shared morning tea, creating a welcoming environment for both long-standing and new members.

For financial members, a comprehensive e-newsletter is published every two months, providing valuable updates and information on the club's activities and interests. We extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in joining our community.
