About Us

The Richmond River Philatelic Society is a friendly local philatelic club based in Lismore in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.

We welcome anyone with an interest in stamps and postal history, from people who are just discovering the hobby to experienced collectors. You do not need to be an expert or have a large collection to become involved. Whether you collect Australian stamps, stamps from around the world, particular themes, postal history, first day covers or something completely different, there is always something to share and discover.

The club meets regularly throughout the year and provides an opportunity for collectors to meet other people who share their interest in philately. Our meetings include interesting talks, displays, and opportunities to buy, sell and exchange stamps and other philatelic material.

Members can also make use of the club library and share their knowledge and experience with other collectors. Our meetings are a great place to learn more about stamps, discover new areas of collecting and enjoy the company of fellow philatelists.

Visitors and prospective members are very welcome to come along to a meeting and see what the club is all about.

If you are interested in joining the Richmond River Philatelic Society or would simply like to be added to our mailing list to hear about upcoming meetings and activities, please contact Geoff Wotherspoon on 0416 216 040.
