On 26 June 2024 Philas was informed that our application with the Parramatta Council to develop the premises at 20 Egerton Street had been approved. 

The DA approval has some conditions, but in general it permits Philas to complete the planned internal construction necessary to house the library, manage philatelic material for auctions or other purposes and provide meeting spaces to clubs and operational committees. 

As has been noted in earlier discussions the Philas executive will work in conjunction with member clubs to determine how we proceed from here
